The path to pursuing a dream or aspiration is not a neat straight line from point A to point B. But rather it is a very crooked weave of "try this" and "try that".....and trying it for a long, long time. Hard stuff. But the benefit is character.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved.
