This painted relief sculpture from my "Redemption Series" is created from recycled materials. Layers of cardboard, paper, and plastics were mounted on wood and painted.
I formed this piece from a desire to communicate the inherent beauty in the seasons of life's changes. Just as in nature, so too in our lives, each season holds a unique beauty.


I love the quote, "Time is a dressmaker specializing in alterations." by Faith Baldwin. It infers the possibility that we might be fitted rightly into each season we find ourselves. It offers a reminder to embrace each season with flexibility, optimism and confidence.
