In life's most challenging seasons, the wise person chooses to draw closer to family members and meaningful friendships. There is where we can find strength. This is the simple inspiration behind the project I have planned for my next "Art Party".
A super simple project, this elegant composition and unified color palette will be doable for a wide range of skill and ability. It's cheerful feeling will be a great accent piece for any home; it would make a cherished gift as well! I have a great assortment of paper and paint color choices to complement any decor too!
The next Art Party" is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 (10 -11:30 A.M.)
Here are the details:
Where: My studio (#114) in downtown Durham, Golden Belt. Here are the directions.
When: Sat. Sept. 10, 2011, at 10 A.M.- 11:30
What: make a super "home dec" piece of art (11 x 14 canvas)
Cost: $35 - Covers all materials needed and a light snack.
SPECIAL Admission: child attending class with parent participates for only $5!
I really look forward to these gatherings. Creating together is such a great bonding experience!
